Imagine a world without Star Trek. Is it a world you'd be very happy to live in, or a dark and terrible place?

Okay, so I never really use this journal, but I felt like recording this moment for posterity anyway.

I found myself on Overheard in New York! (second to last one)

What it doesn't mention is that the trashcan I was horking in was like five feet away from the phone, so I had to leave it dangling, with my mom on the other end freaking out.

I mean, I couldn't hear or see her freak out, but she's the Queen of Hysterics, so I knew she was doing it.

Name: I'm paranoid, so you'll have to call me Hilo. It's what I've been going by on the 'net for a long time.

NaNo username: hilohello

Age: 19

Location: New York City, bitches!

Occupation: Right now? Student.

How many years involved in NaNoWriMo: This is my first year.

This year's story idea, if you have one: Okay, so the world is full of these fantastical creatures that keep everything running normal; however, most people can't see them. Then this one girl hits her head, and all of a sudden can see and hear them. Oh, and there's this guy that died, then became a ghost-thing because his sister buried him with a running watch. Thing is, he wasn't supposed to die when he did, and the girl has to figure out why.

Novel Genre: Fantasy, I guess. It seems like it's going to be more aimed at the younger set. I don't know.

Title: I haven't got one! It's not written yet!

Interests: Um. I like drawing? Nero Wolfe is cool, too.

Music: My music is pretty much all Musical soundtracks and Suzanne Vega.

Influences: I don't think I'm famous enough to have influences.

About me: Well, I'm an art student, and currently working on getting a Graphic Design certificate. Oh, and I can play the cello, though I haven't in a while.

What's in my journal?: Not much, actually.

Okay, not all these turned out the best, and at least one has a typo. But some are cool!

Yaloha all! Okay, first entry... Yesterday was workshop day at my school. We basically did one thing for the entire day. I was in Urrban Defense. No, don't laugh. I only signed up for it 'cause I know the teacher. Anyway, first off, the Yoga people took all the mats, so we had to snitch the sleeping mats from the 4-5's and stck them up. Then, about halfway through the lesson, everyone was starving to death and the only bit of food wa a Power Bar that the teacher brought. Throughout the entire class, I was coughing and sneezing, see, I have a coughing cold.
Now, today, my coughing was even worse. It hurts to cough. ANd, on Fridays, we bring our own lunch. Of course, in the middle of math class, my Dad comes in with cough meds and my lunch. Urgh. But he put my lunch in my locker for me, so it was okay. After that, everything went as it normally does, we're doing food in Spanish, sexual harrasement in Human Relations (goddammit), for Child Development (CD) I have to write a story about Dito, A kid in the 4-5's, whom I know absoulutely know nothing about. Then, in Park, which is basically recess in Central Park, I lay down on a rock to watch ants. When it was time to head back to school, Adam, a classmate, thought I was sleeping and decided to wake me up by throwing a pinecone at me. He didn't even know what it was called. See, Adam's from Hungary and has only been in the U.S. for about 5 years. Okay, I think that about sums it up. TTFN, ta-ta for now!
